The right to food and water is vital to an individual’s dignity. The ICESCR recognises the right to food and water as fundamental to an adequate standard of living. This means every person must have physical and economic access to clean food and water. This right is interlinked with other rights, such as the right to health, the right to housing and civil political rights.
In ICO, we ensure that our communities have access to food and water that are culturally sensitive, clean, and sufficient to ensure their daily development.
