Dr Ceren Şengül is currently an independent researcher associated with Centre Maurice Halbwachs (École Normale Supérieure). She completed her PhD in Sociology at the University of Edinburgh in 2016.
Her book titled Customized Forms of Kurdishness in Turkey: State Rhetoric, Locality, and Language Use was published by Lexington Books, and some of her work has been published in academic journals such as Kurdish Studies and Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism. Her current postdoctoral research focuses on manifestations of whiteness amongst second-generation immigrants from Turkey.
I have been an international mediator for over 30 years, mediating a whole variety of conflicts – business, ethnic, religious, environmental, and political – and involving governments, businesses, pressure groups, individuals and others from over 50 countries. I also advise governments and international bodies on mediation, and train and mentor mediators around the world.
Detailed-oriented, results-driven, and dedicated professional, with expert skills in conflict resolution management and consulting; combined with expertise in grants management, contract administration, and acquisition for both private and public sectors.
Armed with exceptional problem-solving aptitudes in analyzing situations, formulating effective solutions, and resolving complex situations related to conflicts and business intake processes and procedures. Dr. Malang B.S. BOJANG, a Gambian of origin, received a doctorate at Kocaeli University in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. He holds a double MA in Public Administration and International Relations at Sakarya University, Turkey, in 2017, and BSc Honors in Political Science from the University of The Gambia.
From September 2016 to February 2017, he worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic. He is the author of Contemporary Governance & Global Politics (2017) and co-author of Foreign Policy Decision Making in Microstates: The Case of Gambia (2017). In addition, he has published several peer-reviewed academic and conference papers. His research interests include: inclusion and public participation, electronic government in developing countries, public value management, public sector reforms, public sector management and foreign policy of microstates.
